Shaolin Kung fu

At Immortal Dragon we teach the 5 Animals Shaolin Kung Fu from the lineage of Grandmaster Ark Yuey Wong. It is a Southern style that was developed and modernized by former masters within the lineage. As a variation of Southern Shaolin, the system consists of many empty hand and weapon forms, high and low kicks, and different animal techniques.
In classes, students learn applicable techniques form the forms.

Little Dragons

At our Little Dragons class, kids will learn a specially prepared variation of our system, taught in a fun but disciplined environment that is safe and enjoyable for them. We teach foundational techniques, empty-handed and weapon forms but also self-defence. Our goal is to create little warriors that can speak up for themselves, have confidence, teamwork and through that be future leaders, humble and compassionate.

Sanda

Sanda or Sanshou is a fighting system where you are allowed to punch, kick and throw. As Chinese Kickboxing, it is a fun way to stay in shape or to improve your fighting skills. The understanding of Sanda for Sifu Matthias is a bit broader than the official Sanda (Sanshou) and goes back to Lei Tai, a traditional way of competing between martial artists.

Tai Chi & Chi Kung

Tai Chi, an internal martial art, is known for its slow and peaceful movements. Tai Chi helps to decrease stress, anxiety, and depression, it can help to improve your mood, your energy levels, and stamina, your flexibility, and helps to strengthen your muscles. Chi Kung can be translated into awareness. It means literally to work with the vital forces and goes back up to 3,000 years. Some exercises are claimed to come from the founder of the Shaolin Temple and Chan Buddhism: Bodhidharma.
